This book is a reprint of several articles on cancer which appeared in the Journal of Pediatrics recently. There is a most interesting introductory chapter by Dr. James Ewing, which calls attention to the difference between cancer before puberty and in later life. The book brings to light the fact that malignant disease is much more frequent in childhood than is ordinarily supposed. Each chapter has a good description of the various types of cancer which are found in some portion of the body. Altogether, this is a very worth while book.
