The first part of the book discusses the general principles of micromethods and the apparatus used and also colorimetric and nephelometric methods. The second section describes in detail methods for the analysis of urine, including all of the important inorganic and organic constituents. This is followed by a similar section on the analysis of the blood. The methods described are all excellent and are given in much detail. The fourth section is devoted to the determination of the inorganic constituents of tissues. The sections on the analysis of blood gases and the determination of the hydrogen ion concentration follow. The methods discussed throughout the book are well selected and accurately described and are wide enough in scope to cover the needs of clinical laboratory workers. The index is well prepared and accurate.
