The first chapter deals with general surgical considerations in infants, such as medical management and the choice of anesthetic. The remainder of the book is divided into chapters, each dealing with the surgery of one particular part or system of the body, such as the head and face, neck, thorax, abdomen and gastrointestinal tract, genito-urinary system, extremities and congenital malformations.
